The figure of eight cat hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to any cat which it considers unwell or in need of veterinary treatment. This is to safeguard the health of all cats boarded.
All cats must have up to date a vaccinations for feline infectious enteritis and feline respiratory disease (cat flu). The course of vaccinations must have been completed 4 weeks before the first date of boarding or in accordance with the vaccine manufactures instructions. Please ask your vet for guidance on this matter.
Please bring full vaccination details with you when delivering your cat (at every visit). These are kept at the cattery for the boarding period as required by the licensing authority.
In the event of a medical problem your cat’s regular vet will be contacted (as they hold the cat’s medical history). However, if the vet practice is a long way from Leominster, the local cattery vets may be consulted and asked to liaise with your vet. Prescribed treatments can normally be continued for the cat’s stay.
